The short version of a privacy policy
What is collected, who sees it and when it is deleted, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The data we hold
- the name and address the parcel goes to, plus a phone number and an email
- what you have bought, which is how we handle returns and queries
- anything you write to us, kept with the order it relates to
- standard web logs, including page requests and approximate location, used for security and uptime
Nothing financial is entered here. The amount is paid on delivery, so there is no payment data for us to hold.
Why we hold it
Three purposes only: delivery, customer support, and the records we are obliged to retain.
Your details are not for sale and never have been. No advertiser or broker receives them.
Sharing
- the delivery company, which receives only what it needs to find you
- the infrastructure providers behind the website and its mailbox
- a regulator or court, where disclosure is legally compelled
How long we keep it
We hold order records for the retention period Indian tax law sets, and no longer. General enquiries are deleted after they are resolved.
Your say over it
You can request a copy, a correction or a deletion of your personal data, except where a statutory record must survive. Send the request to [email protected].
All pages are served over an encrypted connection, and order data is not open to anyone without a reason to see it.
